One of the largest winter storm in Northeast has arrived! Yeah! Yesterday when I woke up and looked out the window and were pleasant to see heavy chunks of snows blowing all over the place. The snow was wet and non-sticky at first but today they accumulate on the ground! The snow is expected to intensify throughout the day and until tomorrow afternoon, with a total of 12 - 15 inches expected in the city. I can't help but get a little excited. Why should Champaign get all the fun this winter? On my daily basic, I usually took a subway/bus to campus. But my commute to campus and hospital yesterday was treacherous. (Only fun to stay home during winter storm). I don't usually have class on Friday, but mayor Bloomberg announced: "Schools are closed today" within an hour, some friends of mine had texted me saying we had a snow day off!
